Level 2 Teaching Assistant

The Governing Body of Cathcart Street Primary School are looking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant with experience of working across all key stages in a Primary School.

 This position is:

1-year, Fixed term contract

Full time post working 36hrs a week, 39 weeks per year

Band D

Salary £21853.04 - £22201.02

Start date – 1st September 2025

Interviews will take place - w/c 30th June 2025

 The successful applicant will:

  •          hold a minimum Level 2 TA qualification
  •          be able to build up a good rapport and relationship with children and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
  •          have the ability to work as a team member, be able to use their own initiative and also have a clear commitment to an inclusive school
  •          have a warm, kind and inclusive nature and be sympathetic and sensitive to learning and additional needs of children
