On 25th May 2018, the Data Protection Act 1998 was superseded by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The GDPR seeks to give people more control over how organisations use their data. Compliance with the Regulation will be an ongoing process and the school has appointed an external Data Protection Officer to advise and ensure compliance.
We will be publicising policies and notices that are GDPR compliant in the coming months and will keep parents and carers informed of any developments. In the meantime, your child’s data will be handled in the same manner in accordance with legal principles.
