At Cathcart Street, we use a school communication system called Parentapps Connect, to communicate with you.
Parentapps is secure and GDPR compliant, and provides parents/carers with instant access to term dates, events, newsletters, lunch menus, social media and much more. It also links directly to latest news and important information on our website.
In addition, parents/carers are able to view and submit consent forms, receive secure documents and report absences directly from the app. It also enables you to invite additional family members to download the app, ensuring that the right people have access to important information regarding your child.
We use the app to send out direct and group messages to parents/carers via push notifications sent directly to your smart device for you to read at any time.
All new parents automatically receive an invitation from Parentapps upon their child’s admission to school and this is initially sent via SMS text message containing instructions on downloading and accessing the app. Please see instructions within the Parentapps Connect menu of our website for further guidance.
In order to allow other users to access the app, parents/carers need to submit the form which can be found in the ‘Add More Users’ section of the main menu of the app. This will be submitted to school for verification and an invitation will be sent out to them within 48 hours.
