We have a busy and exciting half term ahead in the run up to Christmas and have provided some information and links to some of the things we will be doing below.

Thursday 7th November - PM - Local walk around Birkenhead for History
Monday 11th November - Y5 Bikeability begins
Tuesday 19th November - Liverpool World Museum Trip
Thursday 21st November - PM - STEM Workshop
Tuesday 10th December - PM - Waste Workshop
Wednesday 11th December - 10am-11am - Parents Christmas Craft Morning
Friday 20th December - Christmas Party & Finish for Christmas
Homework:
Monday – Reading records to be handed in, then checked for home reading (3x a week). Homework is given out.
Friday – Homework is due in, you will be given two pieces, plus spellings. You will complete your spelling test.
Also, PE is on Monday, so don't forget your kit!!
Overall, it is important to say that we are always here to help, so come and find us if you need anything at all!

GEOGRAPHY
Year 5 will be focusing on Geography this half term, the focus being 'Port Sunlight'. We will explore Port Sunlight on our trip, looking out for what is in Port Sunlight, why people might go there and will use compasses to help us find landmarks.

SCIENCE
Our Science theme this term is Forces. Children will be learning about the different types of forces.
