We have been informed by our catering provider, Edsential, that the price of a school meal will increase to £2.41 from 1st September 2022. This decision hasn't been taken lightly and reflects the current economic position of significantly higher food and non-food inflationary costs.
This increase only relates to the parents of children that pay for school meals. Parents of children in Years 3 to 6 that receive free school meals will not be affected.
All children in Foundation 2 (reception), Year 1 and Year 2 will continue to receive a free meal under the Universal Infant Free School Meal Scheme.
