Harvest Festival

10th October 2019

RE: Harvest Festival – Thursday 10th October 2019

Our annual Harvest Festival will be held on Thursday 10th October.  We will again be supporting Charles Thompson Mission, a local charity that provides a daily soup and sandwich kitchen for people who are homeless.  The Mission also runs a food bank for Wirral residents.

Donations of non-perishable (i.e. NO FRESH FOOD) food items are welcome until and including Thursday 10th October.  The Mission would gratefully accept:

  • Tinned meat, fish, vegetables, puddings, soup, beans and pulses
  • Packets of cakes, biscuits, crackers or breakfast cereals
  • Rice, pasta, noodles or couscous
  • Tea bags, instant coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, cuppa soups,
  • Deodorant, shower gel, shampoo/conditioner or toothpaste
  • Fruit juice (cartons), cordial and milk (UHT or powdered)
  • Jam, marmalade, peanut butter, Marmite
  • Cooking sauces (jars or tins) or gravy granules

Please ensure that the food is in date.

The Charles Thompson Mission will be grateful for your help and for the help you will be giving to local people and families far less fortunate than ours.
