Year 6 SATS Tests

14th May 2018
Over the past few weeks the Year 6 pupils have been working hard to prepare for the Key Stage 2 SATs tests. This week, the Year 6s were invited to attend every morning from 8.00am for breakfast and enjoy some social time before their SATs tests.
The children enjoyed a variety of breakfast options, from bacon and eggs to pancakes, fruit and yogurt, croissants and juice. It gave the children an opportunity to socialise with their peers and teachers, which meant that they were more relaxed and focused going into the SATs.

We would like to thank:

  • Ms O'Toole and Mrs Gale and the Year 6 Team for their hard work
  • Tesco, Asda and Lidl for donating breakfast provisions
  • Our wonderful Cook, Kate, for cooking all the breakfasts
  • All the staff who gave up their early mornings to come in and serve the breakfast and for supporting this opportunity boost the children
  • The Year 6 pupils who attended; you guys are fantastic!
  • The Year 6 parents who have supported our vision and set their alarms that much earlier!
Now our pupils can enjoy the rest of the summer term before they leave us for secondary schools.
