On Friday 3rd July, Mrs Bishop and Jamie Harvey from Year 6 will bravely abseil down St Mary’s Tower at Birkenhead Priory. The abseil is to raise money for the Birkenhead Priory and a charity of the school’s choice. The first £100 raised will go to The Priory to help towards the upkeep and maintenance of the building. All additional money raised will be donated to Claire House Children’s Hospice.
The abseil is due to take place between 10.30 and 11am and promises to be a great event. Parents and carers are welcome to go along and support Cathcart Street. A group of children will be selected to go along and cheer Mrs Bishop and Jamie on, with the rest of the school watching via a video link.
