CATS Club is Cathcart Street’s extended school provision. The club's main objective is to provide care for children between the ages of 4 and 11 years (Foundation 2 to Year 6). We are pleased to offer wraparound care for children who attend Cathcart Street Primary and other local schools.
Breakfast: 8.00am – 8.55am
The club is run by suitably qualified staff. We ensure that there is a qualified first aider on site at all times and all staff hold food hygiene certificates.
Breakfast club sessions operate from 8.00am to 8.55am. The cost of the breakfast club includes a light breakfast of toast, crumpets, cereal and a drink.
Children attending Cathcart Street are escorted to the playground in time for the school bell.
AFTER SCHOOL CLUB:
After school sessions operate from 3.25pm to 6.00pm. The cost of the after school club includes a light snack and a drink.
At the end of the school day, Cathcart Street pupils are collected from their classrooms and escorted to the CATS room.
The club provides a wide variety of activities including themed weeks, puzzles, arts and crafts, baking and games. These carefully planned activities are fun as well as educational. The club also has a wide range of outdoor activities in our enclosed playground.
PRICE LIST FOR CATHCART STREET PUPILS:
We use Pupil Premium to heavily subsidise the cost of CATS Club for pupils of Cathcart Street. Our charges are as follows:
Breakfast club £1.00
After school club £5.00
PRICE LIST FOR ALL OTHER CHILDREN (NON CATHCART STREET PUPILS):
After school club £7.00
Payment is due in advance and fees can be paid by cash or cheque (payable to ‘Wirral Borough Council’).
CATS Club is based within Cathcart Street Primary School and is accessed via the gates on Dover Close. We provide a safe and welcoming environment in which our children can strive and grow with confidence.
